Team rules
We say hi to others and introduce ourselves to the other players.
We encourage and support each other.
We play hockey for FUN and we don't play by standard hockey rules.
We don’t do slap shots, and we don't lift the puck towards others. We also try to keep the puck on the ice, and we don’t shoot the puck at full speed towards the plexi (= "cold goalie"), because the puck can bounce badly.
We avoid physical contact. Better players should keep a little distance from the less experienced players. Most of us don't have pads/gear on and that must be taken into account - safety first!
We pay attention to the level of players in the game. We let everyone keep the puck for a while, we keep the pace moderate and the pass the puck to all - better players can show everyone their cool tricks if getting bored otherwise. 😊
We keep changes fast and regular and we go onto the ice from the bench in the order of arrival.
We play in running time and if there are enough players, we don’t take breaks.
We keep the game slow enough and comfortable for everyone.
We will handle possible accidents or other “situations" immediately. We raise our hand if we feel the game needs guidance / calming down or someone needs to be reminded about our rules and situation will be handled right away (game will be paused possibly for a while).
